Scenic Bike Adventure on the Timucuan Trail

Fernandina Beach Pride has been invited on this scenic bike adventure on the Timucuan trail Hosted by the Outdoorsy Adventure Team. Join us on this relaxed, scenic bike adventure along one of Northeast Florida’s most beautiful coastal trails.

We’ll begin at the Timucuan Trailhead: 11009 Heckscher Dr.

Our route starts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and through Little Talbot Island and Big Talbot Island, with optional off‑road detours for those who want extra views. We’ll also stop at Boneyard Beach, a perfect place to rest, explore, and take in the scenery.

From there, we’ll keep cruising and roll onto a wooden boardwalk overlooking Spoonbill Pond — a premier birding spot where roseate spoonbills often show off their bright pink plumage.

Whether you want to ride 10 miles or 100 miles, this adventure is flexible and all about enjoying the outdoors at a comfortable, leisurely pace.

We’ll switch to the red trail, then loop back up onto the blue trail before heading north back to the rec center. We should get around 3 miles of hiking on relatively flat, easy terrain.

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the trail. Insect repellant is essential.

After the hike, those that wish to can head to La Sureña Mexican restaurant for lunch.

Drag Songo

We are thrilled to announce that Fernandina Beach Pride's most popular fundraiser, DRAG SONGO, is back! As always, the night will feature great prizes, lots of laughs, and fantastic music. We are especially excited to have Karrissa Wade as our star queen this year.

This event is one of our primary fundraisers for the Fernandina Beach Pride Scholarship Fund, with all proceeds going directly toward the program. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community and sponsors. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to award over $36,000 to Nassau County high school students since 2020. Your support of this event will ensure we can continue to provide financial assistance for LGBTQ+ and ally seniors across Nassau County in 2026.
